About ManoMano

ManoMano is a French company which was launched by Philippe de Chanville and Christian Raisson in 2013, and has since expanded to serve customers across 6 countries (France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, UK and Germany). Just five years after launching our business and after successfully raising 60 million euros in 2017, our staff numbers have tripled, and there are now 300 'Manos and Manas' working here. Descriptif du poste

As Business Developer, you will recruit our future UK DIY vendors, analyse their offer and then work with them to grow their sales performance.

You have a good knowledge of the B2B sales process, are equipped with a strong analytical mind-set and have excellent relationship building skills. You will be able to identify and onboard our future partners with the strongest business potential and help grow our existing partners to achieve very ambitious growth targets!

Your missions:

  • Hunting, hunting hunting! You will analyse competitor selection, identify sellers with the highest potential for the UK ManoMano platform and then convince them to partner with us.
  • You will pitch the ManoMano proposition to new vendors by phone (and on occasion face to face) and secure best business conditions to ensure highest chance of success.
  • You will negotiate best business terms with existing sellers including commercial terms, promotional planning, marketing.
  • You will manage completely the integration and business performance of your portfolio of new and existing vendors and be required to report on performances.
  • You will overcome any obstacles autonomously with innovative solutions and by prioritizing effectively.

Profil recherché

  • You are passionate about Enterprise selling, Business Development B2B and the world of e-commerce!
  • Fluent English Speaker
  • You have at least 2 years of work experience as a business developer or account manager. Ideally in a fast pace, high growth environment.
  • You have a good knowledge of B2B sales process, retail and sales strategies
  • You have a good knowledge of Excel and very strong analytical skills.
  • Autonomous, business driven, strong rigour in the workplace
  • Ease at pitching and negotiating commercial terms with business owners and senior leadership
  • You have a Business Owner mentality, love the world of start-ups and are prepared to roll up your sleeves hustle!
