Job Description

As a marketplace specialized in the Home Improvement industry operating in Europe, ManoMano is disrupting the German market since 2016. This market is a priority for us as it is the second largest country in Europe in our industry and the more mature in e-commerce providing huge growth opportunities for us. ManoMano is looking for a Head of Sellers' Partnership Germany, responsible for the development of our sourcing strategy and playing a key role on ManoMano success.

Within the Sellers' Partnership team and reporting to the Senior Vice President Sellers' Partnership, you will be responsible for the management of the German market business development team which is in charge of the sourcing of new sellers and the support of our existing ones. Missions include defining your own strategy, grow and accompany your team, be representative for ManoMano in the German Market.

MISSIONS

  • Business Development strategy
  • Define and run the best strategy for the German market, in line with the global strategy, to ensure the achievement of our goals
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and key partners in the German market, to ensure our position as leading marketplace in the Home Improvement industry
  • Identify, partner and accompany the top sellers of our industry, from local distributors to international players
  • Be able to challenge existing practices and provide strategic input impacting ManoMano as a whole
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure a coherent strategy in the German market
  • Manage, structure and drive your team
  • Be accountable for your team results
  • Manage and inspire a growing German team in Paris. Act as a leader and a mentor to grow individuals
  • Find,  hire and accompany the best talents
  • Define personal and teams' OKR, define and implement budget and processes that shape the organization. Set business priorities and deploy them with your team
  • Be able to drive several ManoMano teams to work together. In all cases, set a good dynamic between your team and the rest of the company & demonstrate care within your team.
  • PROFILE

  • Competent and business oriented leader with minimum 7 years of relevant experience in business development, management and ecommerce, used to communicate clearly and effectively (written & verbal) with business leaders, able to lead and carry teams and ambitious projects
  • German native speaker
  • Excellent digital culture & deep understanding of the marketplace business models
  • Proven successful track record growing a business, market planning/analysis and opportunity identification
  • Strong organizational planning and development skills
  • Be able to drive projects, tackle complex situations, always using data, coordinate and develop teams
  • Bac +5 graduated from a Engineering School, University-degree in Economics, International Business or similar
  • Data Driven, people know you for your analytical and synthetic mind
  • Autonomous and adaptable (able to work in a constantly changing environment)
  • Curious, with a strong desire to learn
  • Proactive, collaborative and solutions oriented
  • Knowledge of German DIY industry and market landscape would be an additional plus
