Descriptif du poste

Inside the Business & data analytics team, this role is attached to the Sourcing Team which handles all the key account management and business development topics in the company.

The data analysts will work hand-by-hand with Sourcing Team members, not acting as support but bringing actionable recommendations.

The main challenge is to be able to translate the manual, instinctive processes and decisions of Business teams into Data Driven and Standard operational processes.

If you love managing cross-functional stakeholders, pushing projects forward to deliver measurable and strategically meaningful results, and solving problems from both 30,000 feet as well as deep in the details, this is the role for you.

Your main tasks will include:

Understand & explain ManoMano’s business performances

  • Become expert for the Sourcing Department and act as a subject Matter Expert
  • Develop & automate analysis to understand business performances
  • Develop adequate reporting

Optimize ManoMano’s activities

  • Pro-actively detect issues, inefficiencies and identify their root cause
  • Identify and size drivers of growth (optimization & pain points resolution), autonomously provide recommendations
  • Develop tools based on Tableau / Excel / SQL (more details can be given in the interviews)
  • Identify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes

Act as the ‘data point of entry’ for Sourcing Team

  • Identify, define & prioritize needs for data products/ optimizations/ analysis
  • Monitor & drive the delivery of these data projects (data engineering, data science, data analytics…)

Deep dive ad’hoc business problems/ analytics requests for the Sourcing Team

  • Tackle ad’hoc business topics autonomously, managing the ‘analytical loop’.
  • Understanding of commercial processes and challenges to make them more efficient and data oriented.

Ensure the best data appropriation & use by teams

  • Democratize data (trainings, dissemination & usage of tools)
  • Guarantee that analytical methodologies are correctly applied

This position requires to combine a strong analytical mindset, a business acumen and advanced analytical capabilities (SQL is a must-have, Python nice-to-have).

Profil recherché


  • Business and / or analytics background, bac + 5 or equivalent
  • 1-2 years experience in an analytical position (Consultant, Analyst…)
  • A passion for data analysis, data visualization & optimization
  • A strong analytical & detail-oriented mindset
  • Full autonomy in problem solving
  • The ability to synthesize and explain your analyses
  • A creative mindset to identify solutions & shortcuts
  • The capacity to design automated tools
  • Mastering SQL

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience within a Sales Team as an analyst
  • eCommerce experience
  • Coding in Python and/or Google Script
