ManoMano is a French company launched in 2013 by Philippe de Chanville and Christian Raisson.

At ManoMano we work collaboratively to reach the same goal: reshaping DIYing by offering our customers easy access to online tips, tricks, products and innovative services. Currently, we carry over 4 million products on our website, and work hand to hand with more than 2,500 sellers. For the past seven years, ManoMano successfully expanded its activity in order to serve customers across six countries (France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, UK and Germany).
Thanks to funds raising (300 million euros since our creation) our staff number has tripled and we are now 500 'Manas & Manos' across three offices : Barcelona, Paris and Bordeaux.

Background

As a marketplace specialized in Home Improvement industry operating in Europe, ManoMano has been disrupting the Italian market since 2015. Today we start to have an interesting market share, but the growth opportunities remain huge. The opening of our offices in 4 different locations, 2 new fulfillment centers and ManoMano Pro platform dedicated to Home Improvement professionals, are the demonstration of our strong potential in this market. ManoMano is looking for a Lead Business Developer B2B Italy, responsible for the development of our B2B business in Italy and able to customize our global strategy to the country's needs.

Within the ​Business Development team and reporting to the Head of Business Development Italy, you will occupy a key role for ManoMano Pro's growth: manage Business Development B2B Italian teams, build the product catalog for professionals, to provide the best support to our Italian sellers increasing their commitment.

As a Lead Business Developer, you will be responsible for top and bottom line results of your portfolio.

Mission

Build the professional catalog for ManoMano Pro:

  • Identify the best merchants (manufacturers or distributors)
  • Benchmark their offer and analyze the relevance of their catalog according to the needs identified on the Pro ManoMano catalog
  • Contact them and negotiate the conditions that will make the partnership a success

Develop the relationship with our partners:

  • Support them in their integration on the platform
  • Monitor their performance and follow up on pricing
  • Ensure sales growth and margin improvement
  • Be the voice of our partners at the company level (sponsor internally any tech or non-tech initiatives)

Build and manage your team:

  • Recruit as the of business grows
  • Act as a leader and mentor to grow individuals
  • Actively set your business priorities and share them with your team

Profil recherché

  • Italian mandatory
  • Competent and business oriented leader with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business development and category management in the brand/manufacture industry, used to communicate clearly and effectively (written & verbal) with senior business leaders.
  • Product knowledge and appetite for the building industry are appreciated.
  • Proven successful on market planning/analysis and opportunity identification.
  • Bac +5 graduated from a Great Business School / Engineering School (or equivalent university education).
  • Data Driven, people know you for your analytical and synthesis mind.
  • Autonomous and adaptable (able to work in a constantly changing environment).
  • Curious, with a strong desire to learn.
  • Proactive, collaborative and solutions oriented.
