Product organization is divided into 3 Tribes:
SELLERS
VISITORS

Product Management role at ManoMano
We’re currently hunting the best Product Managers out there to join one of our tribes within ManoMano’s fast-growing product team.

With the mentoring of your Group Product Manager or, eventually, your Product Director, you’ll work on your product. You will handle all the regular PM activities (understanding of our customers, the business and technical needs, roadmap creation, delivery management, etc.). If you believe you are a caring, structured and smart product professional with excellent communication skills, you will thrive in ManoMano’s environment.

1- Product discovery

  • Understand your users’ pain points and needs through qualitative research (assisted by our user research department) or quantitative data (NPS results, Customer Effort Score verbatims, and creating queries)
  • Analyse your product usage through our analytical tools stack to understand what drives usage and conversion

2- Product strategy

  • Build and nurture your product vision with your Group Product Manager, based on the data you gathered (from users, your team, data analysis, competitors, user research)
  • Turn insights into a strategy and a well-thought roadmap: you will make sure that we’re building the right features
  • Make sure your team / stakeholders understand and embrace it through your engaging communication

3- Product delivery

  • Work closely with Product Designers and engineers to come up with the best solution to address your users' pain points: you will also make sure that we’re building the feature right
  • Turn your roadmap into a backlog of user stories. Organize and prioritize everything with your Group PM, and explain the rationale behind it to all partners, stakeholders and your team
  • Ensure that all products shipped by your team are bug-free (with the QA team’s help).
  • Test hypothesis and ideas on the field with ingenious MVPs
  • Analyse features performance through A/B testing, behavior data, etc. and generate insights about your product (with user researchers’ help)
  • Communicate promptly with your Group Product Manager about important changes, alerts, metrics, etc. Ask for help whenever you need it, embrace feedback and be a fast learner

Profil recherché

Must have

  • You have worked on a Payments company, either a fintech, a PSP, a card network or a bank in their online payments team (e-commerce). Alternatively, you have worked on the Payments team of a Marketplace.
  • You understand and know the preferred payment methods in France, UK, Germany, Italy, Spain and Belgium and most importantly, why such preference.
  • You can clearly explain the acquirer, issuer, network, merchant and customer model for processing payments to a non-technical person.
  • You have an engineering mindset or an Engineering degree. If you have a Business School degree, you are comfortable working and communicating with Engineers and you are willing to learn more.
  • You thrive in a fast growing scaleup, which means you can adapt quickly, see the big picture but also pay attention to details and you can find ingenious ways to maximize resources.
  • You have great communication skills and intuition to adapt your message according to your audience. * Should have*
  • You know the impact of the following regulations for a business in their payments strategy: Second Payment Services Directive, Strong Customer Authentication, 3D Secure V2, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard
  • You handle ambiguity, complexity and interdependencies in an organized, prioritized and structured way. You have excellent judgment and thoughtfulness about the dynamics of a product ecosystem. You are passionate about it.
  • You have developed empathy to understand customers and you can ask the right questions to discover the underlying problem.
  • You believe that data should help drive your product strategy. You can prove your hypothesis through data points.
  • You are kind, thoughtful and have developed an ability to get things done.
  • If your mother tongue is French, your English CEFR level is at least B1. Else, your French CEFR level is, at minimum, B2.
  • You have worked under Agile software development frameworks.

Nice to have

  • You have been a Product Manager for 1 or 2 years. Else, if you are looking to become one, you can prove you understand the Product Management role, you are passionate about it and convinced is the right move for your professional development.
  • You love DIY, home improvement or gardening and want to play a role in the reinvention of this market profoundly
  • You have already worked in an e-commerce company, started your own company or know very well the marketplace model.
