Job Description

As a strategic growth driver, ManoMano is now building and speeding up its logistics and transport activities in France and in Europe (UK, Germany, Italy, Spain). ManoMano launched its first warehouse in France in November 2018, followed by Spain in 2019 and Italy in 2020, where fulfillment services are offered to sellers : items are stored on their behalf, and once a customer places an order on the website, it is picked, packed and shipped from the warehouse and delivered to end-customer using ManoMano selected carriers.

The logistics’ team is in charge of managing all our Warehouses. Main tasks include:

- Manage day-to-day operations with our logistics partners, in order to ensure the highest quality in term of on-time orders preparation, quality of the preparation

- Manage the quality of the inbound and the stock accuracy on behalf of our merchants

- Organize and manage the weekly, monthly and quarterly business review with our logistics partners

- Manage the warehouse costs: analyse monthly costs, identify improvement opportunity and engage with all the stakeholders to ensure the implementation

- Improve our offer, by building new processes enabling to increase the diversity of products we can handle in our 3PL logistics

- Support the expansion of our logistics network

The logistic lead is managing the entire Logistics team and report directly to the VP Delivery and Fulfillment.

Your missions

- Develop the organization enabling to manage the day-to-day operations of each warehouse. this will require to coach every warehouse manager

- Develop a strong business relationship with our logistics partners. This will be built since the Request for Quotation process

- Ensure consistency of the operations between the different warehouse

- Develop our understanding of the quality and identify improvement opportunities

- Work closely with the finance team to identify costs improvement opportunities

- Manage the logistics strategic roadmap. This will require to involve all the key functions such as IT, S&OP, Operational excellence, Customer experience

- Anticipate and address future roadblock due to our growth

- Identify main development opportunities in term of offer or costs and develop solutions to leverage those opportunity (e.g. increase our ability to ship heavy Bulky products or to ship small and lights items)

- Contribute to develop a responsible supply-chain

- Grow your team to cope with exponential growth of ManoMano

Preferred experience

- 10 years of experience including 5 years of warehouse or 3PL management

- At least 3 years of E-commerce logistics expererience

- Strong experience in Lean Manufacturing

- Very strong analytical skills required

- Excellent project management skills

- Capacity to influence through others and work in a project mode

- Team management experience

- Strong Communication skills

- A significant experience in a fast-paced environment

- Autonomous, business driven, strong rigour in the workplace

- Curious and passionate about innovation in Ecommerce/Marketplace

- Fluency in French and English. Spanish, German, Italian is a plus
